摘要:
This paper emphasizes the importance of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, against the mainstream of Enlightenment thought of his time, causing a deep rupture in the musical aesthetics of tradition -from Pythagoreanism-Platonic to modern rationalism -especially on two basic issues that they are mutually itself: the dichotomy between reason and sensibility and the absence of semantics in musical art, which will establish a close dialogue with the philosophical thought of the nineteenth century, paving the way for the musical aesthetics of romanticism.
