摘要
As new paradigms and ways of thinking and acting in the world arise, religion as a cultural phenomenon must accompany these changes to its maintenance and existence. Inserted into a post-modern context of society, religions should create mechanisms that enable to continue exercising their territoriality, thus maintaining their power over their territories, both the physical, the more recently virtual territories linked to cyberspace. Religion, has a real need to insert these plural contexts not to get plastered, crystallized, but power from new paradigms continue managed his power at different scales. This paper aims to highlight the changes that have occurred in the Roman Catholic Church in Brazil, as well as their stay in power strategies and spreading the faith through new communications. To meet the proposed goal, this article is split into three parts: a) Territory and territoriality of the Roman Catholic Church in Brazil; b) The diffusion of the Catholic Faith in Hypermodernity and; c) Catholic Charismatic Renewal and New Communities.
