摘要
Schizophrenia is a mental disease of high prevalence (1%). It is one of the mental diseases more invalidants since one begins in precocious stages of the vital cycle (adolescence) and that are associated to important cognitive and social deterioration. It has a chronic character and it does not exist now until a treatment that obtains the absolute remission of the disease. Recent literature has tried to characterize the prevalence, the degree and the nature of the neuropsychologicals abnormalities in this disease, but the organization of the human brain during the accomplishment of cognitives functions in the EQZ to a large extent is not known. Of the previous thing, the neurocognitives paradigms are in favor being used in increasing form to study the EQZ. Such experimental and clinical paradigms use tests to characterize better the cognitives abnormalities in this disease. This approach differs from previous psychological investigations, by the use of validated neurocognitives tests in populations with cerebral injuries or by functional studies with neuroimagens in healthy controls. The study of the yields of the patients with EQZ in the neurocognitives tests has allowed to identify central cognitives deficits that could explain a significant proportion of the social and vocacional morbidity in this disease. It is the objective of this revision is to describe these studies, which have contributed to make inferences of disfuncionals neural systems in the EQZ.
