EURAFRICA - To Be or Not to Be?

The aim of this article is to present the nature of the diplomatic relations between European officials and those of some African countries in the context of tensionate relations created by the organisation of the EU-Africa Summit, in December 2007, where the EU's economic partnership agreement with the Pacific region (ACP) should be signed, an agreement which puts African countries at a disadvantage. There is the possibility that these countries won't sign the agreement. Then, the author shows the implications of the disagreement, with effects several economic sectors, particularly the energetic sector and security in Mediterranean area, at the same time looking for solutions in order to solve the conflict.
