NEW TERNARY CU-V-ZN CATALYSTS FOR CONVERSION OF CO2 BY H2 INTO METHANOL

摘要
New binary and ternary catalysts containing Cu associated to V and/or Zn show good activities and selectivities into the methanol synthesis from carbon dioxide and hydrogen mixtures, at 300-degrees-C and under a total pressure of 32 bars (CO2/H-2 = 1/10). Other products were found such as methane, carbon monoxyde (RWGS) and dimethylether. On assessing that Cu zerovalent are the catalytic sites the reactions of methanol and methane formation are structure-insensitive.
