ANTONIO CANDIDO, ANTONIO CORNEJO POLAR AND THE CONSTITUTION OF A LATIN AMERICAN THOUGHT

Under the Project of constitution of a Latin-American thought and promotion of literature and culture of Latin America were conducted, in the 70s and part of 80s, a series of activities that promote the traffic and pointed the contacts of the region productions. Among intellectuals participants there were important productive dialogs like the one settled between Antonio Candido and Angel Rama. But, these approaches between Brazil and Hispanic America also joined Brazil and the Andes, Antonio Candido and Antonio Cornejo Polar were gathered in many events and projects during those years. The study analyzes some of these activities like the participation of Antonio Candido in the Revista de Critica Literaria Latinoamericana and the use of notion of "literary system" by both critics to try to evidence and read the basis of this dialogue.
