摘要
The application of architectural and urban solutions based on the concepts of preserving the environment starts to become noticeable in the routine of professional architects and planners and other construction professionals, due to the adoption of a position of sustainable planning for the benefit of future users. In this sphere, the social housing, aimed at low-income population, also have possibilities to create opportunities and well-designed buildings with an emphasis on sustainable development areas, thus resulting in urban development with quality. Therefore, through research and literature review, this article aims to address issues relating to social housing and its origin, and emphasize the need to implement housing projects of social interest focused on sustainable construction.
