摘要
The problem of far field scattering from an infinitely long perfectly conducting circular cylinder that is partially buried in a conducting plane was studied previously with the help of the image principle and the cylindrical vector wave functions for both transverse magnetic (TM) and transverse electric (TE) polarizations of the obliquely incident plane wave. The results of the scattered near field when the observation point is very close to the cylinder as a function of the electrical radius, the angle of incidence and the height parameter are presented in this article.
