ON A QUARK-LEPTON DUALITY

摘要：
A Yang-Mills-Higgs-Dirac lagrangian is considered which has a multiple vacuum structure. The mass spectrum of the gauge fields varies from vacuum to vacuum and the fermions can be quark-like in one and lepton-like in another. A model is considered in which a hadron is a bag-like structure containing fermions which look like quarks when observed from outside the bag but which would behave like leptons if they could be deconfined.
