摘要：
Literature on social support, coping, and quality of life in chronic illness is reviewed. Research evidence supporting a direct link between these three concepts (on the basis of the concept of adaptation) is stressed. We emphasize the relationship between coping resources and efforts and the different components of quality of life, presenting our diferents studies in various types of chronic patients.
