摘要：

The proyect of Ladron de Guevara about changing the location of many settlements of Nuevo Santander is an important document that shows the quarrels among the authorities of the novohispanic northeast due to political interests; in this case against the governor of the Colony, Jose de Escandon, by pretext of the viceroyal visita of Jose Tienda de Cuervo and the military engineer Agustin Lopez de la Camara Alta.
