摘要：
The generalized Thomas-Fermi approximation is applied to the calculation of the electronic structure of semiconductor compositional superlattices. There is a good agreement with the exact solutions of the corresponding Kohn-Sham equations. In the case of superlattices with thin barriers, the miniband widths are reproduced very accurately. © 1991.
