摘要
A geometrical approach to quantization of a vibrational mode is proposed. In the nonlinear sigma model, soliton solutions with an integer topological charge disappearing in the classical limit h --> 0 are obtained and their properties are investigated. The calculated energy and mean-squared radius of the obtained soliton are shown to be not so far from the experimental values for the nucleons.
