NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THE CAVITATION FLOW AROUND THE WING WITH THE USE OF COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS METHODS

摘要
The main purpose of this investigation is to determine opportunity to use methods CFD to investigate cavitation flow around the wing. In this paper, there was carried out investigation of cavitation flow around wing NACA-4412, based on CFD methods. To carry out the investigation were used models of turbulence K-omega SST and EASM. To simulate cavitation flow were used cavitation models Merkle and Sauer. The simulation of cavitation was carried out to wing NACA-4412 (Pic. 1) at angle of attack of 8 degrees. The speed of flow set equal 3.46 m/s. To simulation of cavitation flow was set series of cavitation numbers from 0.6 to 2.5. The results of investigation were compared with experimental values reported in article Robert W. Kermeen "Water Tunnel Tests of NACA 4412 and Walchner profile 7 hydrofoils in noncavitating and cavitating flows".
