摘要
Decision Support Systems have been widely used in business and engineering applications. Because sentencing is primarily concerned with consistency of process rather than consistency of outcome, it has not been a fruitful area for decision support research. We give an outline of the need for decision support to support sentencing decision-making. We examine current sentencing decision support systems and compare their different aims and users.
