The last course of Ferdinand de Saussure and his presence in the "Course of General Linguistics"

This paper presents an analysis of the "Course in General Linguistics" book. The main objective of this work is to identify which parts of such book belong to the third course of General Linguistics that Saussure taught between 1910 and 1911, at State University of Geneva. To accomplish this identification, we used two critical editions of the "Course in General Linguistics" itself, one made by Tulio Mauro (2005) and another written by Rudolf Engler (1989), both presenting the corpus used by C. Bally and A. Sechehaye to produce the work, besides specifying which of these sources were used in each part of it. Therefore, after reading these editions and analyzing the "Course in General Linguistics", we point out the pages and paragraphs of this latter work that belongs to the content presented in the third course given by Saussure, reaching the main goal of our analysis.
