摘要：
The article is devoted to the state-law regulation of the crossing of state frontier by citizen of Russian Empire. The law-making acts of the mid XVIII and the beginning of XX centuries containing the rules of crossing the state border are characterized in this article. The author pays more attention to the crossing of by border territories of the west border of Russian Empire by citizens.
