摘要：

The autor carries out a review of the main barriers and threats in the service sector which handicap its competitiveness, in addition to some factors which play a role in the making of outsourcing decisions, and analyses their relationship with the Spanish labour market. He also proposes solutions throught which to simultaneously revitalise the sector and improve productivity and the minimum wage, through more flexible working hours and a client/supplier relationship based on long-term trust.
