摘要
Further teacher training is a central task of university colleges of teacher education in Austria. The study presented deals with motivations to take part in further teacher trainings, interests and needs of teachers of religion. The study focuses on trainings which are organized by the kirchlichen padagogischen Hochschule Edith Stein. The survey shows that the interest in topics and lecturers is the most important motivation to take part in trainings. When teachers cannot take part in trainings, it is because of family burdens and because teachers cannot be absent from school for a longer time.
