摘要:
Fixman's theory has been modified to investigate the dynamics of dilute polymer solutions using the bead-spring chain model. The concepts of normal modes and hydrodynamic interaction used in Fixman's theory have been modified, and the computational details have also been improved. The FENE-P chain model, based on the radius of gyration, has been employed to add the concept of the non-linear spring to Fixman's theory. A new algorithm thus formed could accommodate the concepts of hydrodynamic interaction, excluded volume, the non-linear spring and the finite number of beads.
