摘要：

A series of eight upflow sludge blanket digesters was examined as four pairs (one control and three test reactors) to assess the potential for granulation enhancement of adding biopolymers (ECP), a Methanothrix supplement or granular activated carbon to the basic, non-granular seed sludge. The results showed that, although the ECP was not particularly beneficial, the other two supplements did enhance both the granulation process and the reactor performance.
