Heat transfer coefficient measurement at low velocity flows. A transient method for measuring wall heat transfer coefficients is presented. Experimental difficulties specific to estimating low transfer coefficients ave described here. The principle used is the flash method. A relaxation regime appears after a local heat pulse perturbation, A model, that takes conductive transfer in the wall into account, is constructed and an original identification method is presented. An experimental study, implemented on a pat conducting plate allows the validation of this method for measurement of low transfer coefficients (10-200 W.m(-2).K-1).
