摘要：
Like its diagnosis and therapy, the follow-up care for breast cancer is a complex procedure. Although patients often demand intensified follow-up care with more diagnostic procedures (e.g. X-ray, CT, MRI, PET and tumour markers), current data and recommendations are lacking here. Therefore, follow-up care should be improved rather than intensified. The main points for improvement include an intensification of dialogue with the patient, compliance with endocrine therapies, participation in recommended procedures within the recommended time intervals and advice on lifestyle.
