Starting from the recognition of the presence of myth in the novel Leopard al sol, this article searches the symbolic ways the writer Restrepo builds up to sociocultural reflection no the phenomenon: of vioience and more exactly on, drug traffic in Colombia; during the time of the transition of peacefulness marimbern to the cocaine, between 1960 and 1980.
