TEACHERS AND PARENTS TOO - AN ASSESSMENT OF DUTCH SEXUAL HEALTH-EDUCATION

This report describes a visit made to several Dutch schools and corresponding Rutgersstichting houses to assess the role played by Holland's sexual health education in achieving their low teenage conception rates. The conclusions attribute the successes to background cultural differences, the strong influence of parents and social values, and the importance of assertiveness training from primary school age.
