摘要
In the documents of the 7th Communist Party Congress, it is stated: "Socialist development requires the structural transformation of the economy, achieving an advantageous and dynamic international insertion for the elevation of well-being and building a prosperous and sustainable society" (Partido Comunista de Cuba [PCC], 2017, p. 1). Findings of the social sciences give accounts of growing processes of inequality expressed in different areas such as income levels, identities, sexual orientations, skin color, sex, among others. This suggests the possibility of diversified conceptions about the society to be built and specifically about the notions of welfare and prosperity. The research that is presented questioned: what is the conceptualization of well-being that labor actors have in Havana? It took place between November 2017 and February 2018, we followed a concurrent mixed design, where a questionnaire, a drawing and a semi-structured interview were applied. 200 workers from the state and non-state sectors of the economy were interviewed. The results show homogeneity of responses.
