UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH AT THE OFFSHORE TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH-CENTER

An undergraduate research program in offshore technology has been established at the Offshore Technology Research Center as a means for encouraging advanced education in marine and ocean-related areas. Students for the program are selected from a number of institutions in the south and southwest. Individual research projects are undertaken by undergraduate students in conjunction with ongoing research programs in the Offshore Technology Research Center under the guidance of research faculty. The program provides each of the participants an opportunity to develop creative abilities and independence in the solution of research problems.
