摘要:
Partial communication, as well as complete silence, were typical of Grotowski and perhaps of all members of the Laboratory Theatre. This silence was not only of a political nature, it was not only the result of the games that were played with the regime. It was fundamental to the work, but it went beyond this; it constituted a modus operandi, a creative strategy. It was the indispensable condition to continue to exist. This is also why today, the persons who shared Grotowski's adventure continue to write, exchange and read each other's texts, and engage in conversations and discussions. Behind all this lies the conviction that, fifteen years after Grotowski's disappearance, the best way to get to know him, at least at the beginning, is simply to read all that he wrote. One writing after another, patiently and painstakingly, sentence by sentence, because everything was deeply thought out and precisely formulated. During the conference "Grotowski - narrations", 2010, Ludwik Flaszen, Leszek Kolankiewicz, Zbigniew Osinski, Teo Spychalski discussed the relationship between Grotowski and the word, his expression through a multiplicity of languages, and the weight of the words he bequeathed.
