Education and health are interconnected areas, thus analyzing the conceptions of education, as well as its historical and conceptual aspects in health allows us to discuss the paradigms and educational practices from multiple perspectives, recognizing the importance of the transformations and methodological innovations in this area, such as the questioning and active methodologies, which promote participatory learning, critical and reflective, focused on building knowledge, social transformation. In this sense, this article aims to contribute to the discussion on the problem-based education in education and health service, based on experiences in the SUS and reports of experiences with active methods in which one of the main results is the professionals' reflection about their practice especially in education in / health as well as reflecting the changes in health care, especially in SUS optimization.
