摘要
In this study we analyze school violence and ways of solution from the point of view of future teachers. This is an exploratory study in which a group of 29 students of the degree in infant education from the Universitat Ramon Llull (Barcelona), after watching the images of a recent beating by a high school student to another, express their perceptions, experiences, and understanding of conflict through an open answer questionnaire. The results indicate that despite the overwhelming rejection of violence, a model of peace through force, in which retributive justice is preeminent, prevails. In addition, the lack of resources to solve the conflict from any directly involved roles (aggressor, victim, observer), or indirectly ones (parents, teachers) analyzed, holds an open a space for the development of school mediation as a preventive and educational way of intervention in conflict.
