摘要
The formation of insoluble compounds on zinc in 0.15 M H2SO4 was shown by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy to be possible. Anodic current-voltage curves were obtained for three kinds of zinc surface: polycrystalline with a mechanically worked surface, electrochemically deposited, and the (0001) single-crystal basal plane. The experimental data obtained were well described by a model of two-step charge transfer with surface diffusion of ions of intermediate valency.
