Numerical simulation of caving law in natural caving mining method based on deformable discrete element method

摘要
Based on the deformable discrete element method(DDEM), the caving law of natural block caving mining method is simulated by numerical method. The results show that the numerical simulation based on DDEM is suitable to analyze the mechanism of natural caving law in block caving method, it not only has function of research on caving mechanism in rock mechanics, but also can easily demonstrate the rock state variation at different times. The comparison with actual state measured in-situ shows that this method has practical accuracy, and can be efficiently used to guide the mining process.
