Experience and future trends the complex development of museum affair in the bounds of the district museum establishment (on the example of Tomsk region native land museum 2000-2005)

The article focuses on the experience of running a regional museum under the conditions of a general crisis of Russian museums (2000-2005). It analyzes the strategies of exposition projects, the development of the institution's external connections, the steps taken to ensure a more efficient internal organization. The authors conclude that the elaboration of a regional strategy of museum activities is of special importance for a successful complex development of a museum.
