摘要
After Hitler's rise to power in Germany, National Socialism initiated a process of Gleischschaltung (homogenization or alignment) of diverse institutions of the German community in Argentina which, although successful, did not encompass their entire number. During the decades of 1930 and 1940 some associations were formed that brought together German speakers of assorted backgrounds with a shared trait: their opposition to the Third Reich. This article analyzes the position of this varied grouping of anti-Hitlerite militants faced with the anti-Semititic escalation in Europe; their thoughts on the relationship between Jews and Germany; and their contacts with German-speaking Jewish emigres.
