摘要
Techniques for determining the impact mechanical response of laminated composites in tension, compression and interlaminar shear are briefly described. Stress-strain curves for a plain weave carbon epoxy laminate under both tensile and compressive impact are compared with those obtained at a quasi-static rate and interlaminar shear strengths are determined at both rates for a satin weave carbon/epoxy laminate.
