摘要
The present paper deals with the solution of the title problem in the case where the plate possesses two equal sides which are either clamped or simply supported while the third is free. An approximate analytical solution is obtained using polar coordinates and the optimized Rayleigh-Ritz method which allows for the determination of the fundamental frequency coefficient. The fundamental eigenvalue is tabulated as a function of the geometric parameters coming into play. An independent solution is obtained by means of the finite element method. Reasonably good engineering agreement is shown to exist.
