摘要
The article deals with one of the most ideologically important and remark able components of Johannes V. Jensen's (1873-1950) authorship - volumes of "Myths". Johannes V. Jensen, an outstanding representative of the Danish literature of the XX century and the Nobel Prize laureate (1944), is considered to be a founder of a new novella genre called "Myth"(Myte). The new genre is represented by nine volumes of novella works published in different periods of Jensen's life. The article is focused on the analysis of composition, thematic and stylistic features of "Myths". It also represents the limits definition of the new novella genre and its place in Jensen's authorship.
