摘要：
There has been a steady growth of the P/M industry in India, not-with-standing the turbulent gulf situation. Bigger and more complex sintered parts have entered the market, particularly in car assemblies. Current R & D activities are highlighted and the scope of P/M education in selective areas is described briefly.
