摘要：
This article explores the relationship between childhood abuse and adult suicidal behavior among former mental health patients in a rural area. Historical data from 1999-2005 were used and analyzed from an outpatient mental health center. Suicidal ideation and attempts were found to be significantly correlated to all types of childhood abuse, such as mental, physical, and sexual. We conclude with recommendations for future research and implications for future social work practice. (C) 2007 by The Haworth Press, Inc. All rights reserved.
