摘要
Thermal shock experiments (heat flux = 1800 MW/m(2), pulse duration = 0.5-2 ms) in the JAERI electron beam irradiation system (JEBIS) have been carried out on CFCs and tungsten at high bulk temperature (up to 1100 degrees C). Measurements were made with respect to weight losses, changes of surface morphologies and emission of bulk materials. As a result of these experiments, it is found that the normalized weight losses and the diameters of the eroded or melted area of all samples increase with the bulk temperature and that the normalized weight losses of CFCs decrease with higher thermal conductivity at high and low bulk temperature.
