摘要
In this paper we discuss the limits and possibilities of teacher education in the context of Information Technology and Communication (ICT). In this sense, contemporary education, is founded on capitalist logic and, consequently, technological rationality, assuming the statute of centrality both in education and in teacher training. Thus, considering the technical rationality, which gives the show an air of culture resulting from the mass production of cultural industry, critical reflection favors the understanding of the foundations that underpin the assertion of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) in education and as the questioning of their impact on the process of teacher education. In this movement, Critical Theory contributes philosophical-theoretical-methodological foundations needed to understand, confront and problematize the challenges posed to this educational and intellectual movement.
