PROFILIZATION OF TEACHING MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY FOR STUDENTS OF STOMATOLOGICAL FACULTIES OF MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

Medicinal chemistry is a fundamental science in the system of higher medical education. The article describes profilization of the study materials according to the program of the study discipline Medicinal chemistry for students of stomatological faculties of higher medical educational institutions of III-IV accreditation levels for the specialty Stomatology. It is necessary to study peculiarities of chemical composition, properties and functions of teeth, saliva, organs of the oral cavity, and their disfunctions. Understanding of chemistry, origin of diseases of the oral cavity, teeth is necessary for practical activity of the stomatologist.
