摘要
In a previous report, the deposition and dissolution processes of Ag metal were directly observed by measuring the rest potential of a Ag monitor electrode during potential oscillation. From this result, it was clarified that the coupling of H//2 oxidation with Ag deposition-dissolution results in potential oscillation. A limit cycle was obtained by simulating kinetic equations describing the potential oscillation due to coupling of the anodic oxidation of H//2 with Ag deposition and dissolution. Attractive interaction between Ag adatoms on Pt test electrodes was found to be essential for producing the limit cycle.
