INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS OF LINEAR NONLINEAR DYNAMICS OF MULTIBODY SYSTEMS

摘要
In the last years, the method of multibody systems (MBS) has gained a wide field of applications in kinematics and kinetics, especially in vehicle system dynamics of rotors and robots and dynamics of machines and mechanisms. Originally mainly used for scientific applications, the method of MBS has by means of improved algorithms, increasing hardware capacities and especially by means of a better program handling developed into a method that is increasingly applied in industry. The program MEDYNA units two essential aspects for the computation of MBS: a linear and a nonlinear algorithm (geometrically linear/nonlinear), which will be applied according to the system to be described. In the following the program structure and the different algorithms and application fields for MEDYNA/linear and MEDYNA/nonlinear will be shown.
