摘要
In examining the relationship of aqueous environment and microorganisms it is indispensable to take the ever more widespread chemical contamination of both surface and ground waters into account. At present there occur increased concentrations of heavy metal ions in the natural environment, especially of mercury, lead, cadmium, nickel and chromium. In connection with the negative influence on waters we aligned sights upon examining the effect of heavy metal ions on the properties of bacteria resistant to antibiotics, isolated from aquatic environment, and at the same time upon the incidence of resistance determinants and transfer resistance to antibiotics and heavy metals. The results obtained from our observation have confirmed the selection of resistant bacteria under the effect of waters contamination by heavy metal compounds.
