摘要
A group experience with people with severe mental disorder is presented herein. The main objective is to show how the multifamily group responds to the need of users and family members to improve and/ or increase their social support network. The group involved a total of 27 participants among family members and users of the Day Center Arganzuela for people with severe mental disorders. 16 sessions have been carried out over a period of nine months. An increase in users' participation and integration in community activities, as well as on the significant relationships number - family and friends- and among the group members has been observed.
