摘要
From an early age, Julien Green was an avid reader of Saint Paul's letters. References to Saint Paul abound in his Journals, in his Autobiography and in his novellas, novels, and plays. A convert to Catholicism, Green endeavoured in his writings to explore various aspects of the conflict between sin and grace both in his own life and in the lives of his fictional characters. In this year dedicated to Saint Paul, it may be of interest to attempt to study his letters in the context of the unfolding of the spiritual drama of a leading twentieth-century writer.
