摘要
In the present article, I offer some key interpretations of Husserl's phenomenology as heir to a way of thinking that has been named "transcendental philosophy" after Kant. Firstly, a short definition is given of what transcendental philosophy is, its objectives, problems and characteristics in order to place Husserl's work within this context. Secondly, the Kantian and Cartesian legacy of phenomenology are analyzed with the objective of delineating the similarities and differences between their respective philosophical proposals. In a third section, the central role of the "phenomenological reduction" is put under review in order to stress its function in Husserl's philosophy regarding intentionality and the correlation between world and consciousness. Finally, the place and the importance of transcendental phenomenology for contemporary thought will be analyzed, as well as the limits and possibilities that a transcendental philosophy as the Husserlian phenomenology can offer nowadays.
