Preparation and Performance of Porous LiFePO4/C Composites for Lithium Ion Batteries

摘要
The porous LiFePO4/C composites have been synthesized via sol-gel method by using a source of trivalent iron. And various LiFePO4/C have been prepared by changing the proportion of raw materials, sintering temperature, and sintering time. The structure and morphology of the as-prepared LiFePO4/C composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), galvanostatic charge/discharge tests. The experimental results showed that excellent LiFePO4/C composites were synthesized by heated to 700 degrees C as 7 degrees C/min of heating rate and then sintered 10 h. The capacity can be up to 140.4 mAhg(-1) after 50 cycles under 0.1 C.
