摘要
The article describes the method and criteria of selecting wind turbines used to heat domestic hot water (DHW). The authors describe a method of choosing turbines based on power characteristics, climatic conditions and heating demands of a building. Power characteristics are described together with power utilisation factors for turbines with a horizontal and vertical axis. Special attention has been drawn to power utilisation factor of the turbine, which depends on climatic conditions and is a better parameter of turbine selection than power characteristics.
